BUDDY SCOTT ON THE MIGHTY 91!
One of the hottest boss jocks on the West Coast is Andy Broman, the Fair Oaks, California kid.
I met Andy in Adak, Alaska. He was the P.D of AFRS radio, the Mighty 890 in the Bering Sea. I want you to see yourself there, on that isolated island - a radio station, Andy, a man who was "green at the gills" about programming a station.
Listen to the MP3's of Andy, later as Buddy Scott (the 1st), and Mother Bear. "This is the Bear on the air on Kisn." Look at few of pictures I took of the Bro. Hear the sounds from far away and from another era. The Bro lives on in sound! He retired in New Mexico.

KGRL with Andy Broman -His First Stateside Gig - 1968 BEND, OREGON
The National P.D. had Kisn's turntables speeded-up. The idea was to get more songs in per hour. But Chevy Van and other songs sounded too fast.
Later in 1970, Broman hired me away from a podunk operation. When I hesitated, Andy asked me if I was 'happy' at the Oregon station. I said I wasn't. He and the manager Glen Woodman hired me on the spot, right there at Denny's in Grants Pass Oregon. A month later, I took over and followed Andy for the night time shot, making more bread than I had ever made. I cooked and rocked a tight show. I loved the hot nights and cool days on the California Coast. But Andy Broman was always trying to tweek me up even hotter. After six months, I met Penny on the 822-KATA loveline. We got married and later moved to The Dalles on the Columbia River. byline Chuck Weber
Below is a great shot of Andy and Chuck Weber as Bro hands over the baton to Web. He is also my Best Man at this great celebration of Penny and Steve tying the knot.
